Hello and welcome to my website.

I practiced law in Colorado for 49 years. Since retiring, I have been exploring a different creative side -- making illustrations and writing fiction. (Some of my opponents during my law practice accused me of writing fiction in my pleadings and briefs -- but I always denied it.)

It is a surprise that I am producing fiction since my career entailed technical writing. And even my recreational reading was of histories and biographies. (Real life is interesting enough, who needs fiction.) But, I suppose, percolating inside of me were stories that were real only in my mind. Those stories needed to come out.

My first work is: "The Artist -- an Illustrated Story." My creation of that story is even more surprising to me than that I'm doing fiction at all. If you wish, you can read more of my notes.
